Stain & Lime Wash

Do you want a certain look for your home? Need the timber floors a certain colour, or just a little darker in tone? We can achieve this with the right stain or finish.

Floor Staining

Floor staining changes the colour of timber floors while keeping the pleasing natural woodgrain finish.

Quality floor staining is a skill; unevenly applied stain will ruin the look of the timber. But our professional approach always achieves excellent results. We refuse to make compromises, and ensure that all floors are properly prepared and all staining products are undiluted.

Staining generally darkens a timber floor.

Staining can be combined with polyurethane to add a protective coat to the stain colour.

Lime Wash

Lime wash is a floor whitening process. It gives a floor a translucent chalky appearance, suitable for an austere décor. It preserves the natural woodgrain pattern of the timber.

 Polyurethane

This is a transparent coating that protects the timber floor. It can be applied over a bare floor surface or stained surface. It can sometimes also be combined with the stain.

Water based polyurethane is virtually transparent. Floors require several coats, but the produce it quick drying, and the results last for years.

Solvent based Polyurethane give a timber floor a slightly amber tone. It is slower drying but only requires a few coats. The results are very long lasting.

We guarantee our professional staining and floor finishing. We have the experience and skill to provide the very best professional result, with 99% past customer satisfaction.
